Five ins and outs Everton could complete this week

Everton and Marco Silva face a big season ahead at Goodison Park, as the Toffees look to bounce-back on a disappointing campaign last term.

Silva has already invested heavily into the squad at his disposal ahead of the Premier League’s kick-off in just a few weeks time, splashing a significant amount to lure former his protege Richarlison from top-flight rivals Watford.

Just one signing is unlikely to be enough though and it could be a busy few weeks at Goodison Park, as we identify five deals that could go ahead this week.

Henry Onyekuru to Valencia

Loaned to Galatasaray earlier this month, Henry Onyekuru could be on the move once again as reports state Everton have received a permanent offer for the young striker, according to Turkish outlet .

The club in question is La Liga giants Valencia, who are looking to offer Onyekuru a five-year deal and the opportunity to play Champions League football for the Spanish side, who finished fourth behind Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid last season.

21-year-old Nigeria international Onyekuru signed for Everton last summer and was immediately sent on-loan to Anderlecht, where he scored 10 goals in 28 matches before a knee ligament injury sustained in December derailed his rise.

Lucas Digne: Barcelona

Everton are on the verge of signing Lucas Digne from Barcelona, according to . He will provide competition down the left-side for veteran full-back Leighton Baines – bringing an end to the Toffees painful search for a new full-back.

Marco Silva’s side had previously been heavily linked with Manchester United’s Luke Shaw and Celtic’s Kieran Tierney before turning their attention towards the 25-year-old, who has spent the past two years with the LaLiga champions.

“I want to say thank you very much to all. First to the club that has given me everything since I arrived. Thanks to all the physios, the staff with whom I have worked, the physical trainers, the security people, all that make the club a family.”

Ademola Lookman to RB Leipzig

Despite Everton remaining firm on their stance that Ademola Lookman will not be sold, Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig have failed to receive the message and still remain in the hunt for the player who shone on-loan with the German side in the second half of last season.

stated last week that RB Leipzig are refusing to end their pursuit of the 20-year-old and are reportedly ready to pay as much as £25m to bring the former Charlton Athletic man back to German football.

Lookman scored five goals in 11 appearances for Leipzig last season, who finished sixth in the Bundesliga – just two points off the Champions League places.

Yerry Mina: Barcelona

The signing of Lucas Digne from Barcelona may not be the only capture from the La Liga champions.  states Everton remain in talks with the Catalan giants regarding the services of centre-back Yerry Mina.

The Colombia international only arrived at the club in January but could be forced out due to La Liga’s non-EU player regulations, which limit each club to just three non-EU players, with Ernesto Valverde expected to name Philippe Coutinho, Arthur and Malcom as his three named players.

Those regulations have already seen Barcelona send Paulinho back to China, despite his impressive displays last term, and the club will now cash-in on Mina after his impressive performances at the World Cup.

Antonee Robinson to Bolton

Antonee Robinson could be set to return to Bolton on-loan, after spending last season with the Championship club, as (Transfer live blog, 15:30, 28/07) state that Everton are willing to accept a deal.

The report claims Everton will tie the 20-year-old left-back down to a new contract before his move to Lancashire, with the Toffees having plans for Robinson in the future but aware that playing time in the first-team next season will be limited.

Everton’s imminent capture of Lucas Digne from Barcelona would provide Robinson with another hurdle to overcome for a starting spot.
