Marco Silva is looking to get Everton back on track this season and is set to make some waves in the transfer market ahead of the 2018-19 season.
The Toffees endured a turbulent campaign after an intense spending spree last summer but have finally got the man they wanted in Silva and now look set to venture into the transfer market, after holding fire so far this window.
With just weeks to go until the new season commences, Everton are ready to come out of the blocks in the market firing as some rather exciting and expensive deals have been touted. Here, we have identified five deals that could be concluded this week.
Danny Welbeck – Arsenal
After plummeting down the pecking order at Arsenal in the past 12 months following a number of fine acquisitions by the Gunners, Danny Welbeck looks to be surplus to requirements in the eyes of Unai Emery.
says Everton are keen on a £15 million swoop for the England international, who was a bit-part member of Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad in Russia, as the Toffees look to rejuvenate their attacking options – and Welbeck’s versatility could be crucial.
However, fans may be concerned by Welbeck’s record as he has not hit double figures for goals in any of his four seasons at the Emirates Stadium and has endured numerous injury issues in that period.

Ademola Lookman to RB Leipzig
Marco Silva has told the that Ademola Lookman is a part of his plans at Everton for the forthcoming season but RB Leipzig are refusing to end their pursuit of the 20-year-old who spent time on-loan at the club last year.
The Bundesliga side are adamant that Lookman himself is keen on a move and it is likely to come down to first-team assurances, which Everton may not be able to offer if they continue to chase further attacking recruits.
“We would like to see the player with us, it’s well known he would like to come. But he’s Everton’s, and as long as we can not reach an agreement with them, he’s still part of Everton. It does not help us to give more information at this stage.”

Richarlison – Watford
The transfer that looks most likely to occur at Goodison Park in the coming days is the capture of Watford winger Richarlison, who excelled under the guidance of Marco Silva at Vicarage Road last season but struggled for consistency.
says Watford are closing in on the signature of the 21-year-old Brazil ace for a staggering £50 million fee, which is likely to provide a huge impact on any other activity Everton have planned in the market – particularly with who stays and goes on Merseyside.
Last scoring in the Premier League in November and providing his last assist the following month, Richarlison will need to get back on form if he is to succeed with the Toffees.
Yannick Bolasie to leave
With the seemingly inevitable arrival of Richarlison from Watford, Yannick Bolasie’s exit from Goodison Park looks to be edging closer and closer but it is still not entirely clear where the 29-year-old will end up.
The names a trio of Premier League clubs as interested in his services, Crystal Palace, Fulham and Leicester City, while Turkish giants Fenerbache continue to be touted as potential candidates for his signature.
While Everton are not actively looking to sell Bolasie, they will listen to offers for the right price and Richarlison’s arrival would surely push him out the door.
Lucas Digne – Barcelona
Everton’s pursuit of a new full-back has been widely reported this summer, with the Toffees previously eyeing Manchester United’s Luke Shaw and Celtic’s Kieran Tierney as they seek a long-term replacement for Leighton Baines.
It appears that Barcelona’s France international full-back Lucas Digne is now the prioritised signing in this area and the has reported that the Toffees have seen a £22 million bid accepted by the LaLiga champions, with Digne now set to decide if he wants to move.
The 21-cap full-back was not part of France’s World Cup success, instead featuring on the standby list, and made 12 LaLiga appearances for Barcelona last season.
