Five Arsenal players could leave before deadline day with Mikel Arteta open to sales
Arsenal still looking to do business in and out of the door before transfer deadline day on August 30th.
Arsenal are on the verge of signing Mikel Merino from Real Sociedad and there could still be another incoming.
Though, at this stage, the focus is very much on offloading players and it’s now come to light which five could leave.

Arsenal could offload five first-team players this week
According to , Arsenal could offload as many as five players before the transfer deadline on Friday at 11pm.
Eddie Nketiah was in talks to join Nottingham Forest but that move collapsed and he’s now a target of Crystal Palace.
Aaron Ramsdale could also depart with Wolves thought to be one of the interested parties in his signature.
Reiss Nelson was considered by Leicester but his price tag was deemed beyond their budget, so at this stage, it seems he’ll be staying put in North London.
Jakub Kiwior is another who’s been heavily linked with the exit door, though, Juventus’ interest has cooled after they signed Pierre Kalulu.
And finally, Fabio Vieira is the fifth and final Arsenal player who’s expected to leave with a return to Porto on the cards.
Vieira is on the verge of joining the Portuguese outfit on a season-long loan deal.
Arsenal remain in the market for reinforcements
Speaking after Arsenal’s 2-0 win against Aston Villa, Arteta admitted the club are still active in the market for further arrivals,
“We are a little bit short,” Arteta said, via .
“If we can do something, we will do it.
“We need good availability from everybody, we don’t have 23 outfield players and normally you have to be equipped like that.”
