‘Fits Klopp’s system’: £92m man deemed ideal for Liverpool – could be available at knockdown price
Reported Liverpool target Ferran Torres has been described by Valencia legend Fernando Gomez as a great fit for Jurgen Klopp’s system at Anfield, in conversation with .
According to a report from , the Reds are considering rivalling Real Madrid and Barcelona for the signature of the dazzling 20-year-old attacker.
Torres is a versatile forward who can play on both flanks as a winger, but can also play across the front line – qualities which will surely appeal to Reds boss Klopp.

The player, rated as one of the brightest prospects in Spain, penned a new contract with Los Che in April 2018 in a deal which runs through until 2021, with a reported €100million (around £92million) release clause ().
To date, he has made 88 first-team appearances for Valencia, netting nine goals and registering 11 assists, according to .
“Ferran Torres is a great player. He has emerged very young and that is proof of his maturity,” Fernando told .
“He’s skillful, he’s great one-on-one, he’s quick and he even scores goals. He also plays on the inside, takes advantage of spaces and can be part of a team that plays on the counter-attack or a dominant team in terms of possession.
“He can perform well in any team and in any league. In England too, of course, at Liverpool or any other team. Klopp’s system fits him and he is mentally very strong to cope with pressure and demands.”
TBR View:
Torres is a young player of the highest calibre and it’s little surprise that he is being linked with the biggest and best clubs in Europe.
Plaudits have been coming his way, and for Valencia legend and former director Fernando to say he’s a great fit for Klopp is likely to fuel speculation further.
And despite his hefty release clause, claims Los Che may be forced to accept an offer some way below his release clause in order to avoid seeing a price set by tribunal – definite food for thought for the red half of Merseyside.
