‘Final stages’… Fabrizio Romano says ‘brilliant’ £43k-a-week Forest player is now leaving
On what could prove a very busy deadline day for Nottingham Forest, Fabrizio Romano has now shared some important news.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s Forest side certainly face an uphill battle in the second half of the season.
A possible point deduction is looming and results on the field also need to improve too.
That being said, the club do seem very alive to opportunities today.

Interest in Kasper Schmeichel has been reported, as well as a move for former Newcastle United keeper Matz Sels.
That being said, it’s a Forest departure that has now been sharing the latest on.
Fabrizio Romano says deal now agreed for Serge Aurier to leave Forest today
Romano shared an update on X this morning saying Serge Aurier was now close to signing for Turkish side Galatasaray.
The journalist said the deal was already in its final stages and said the clubs were now just checking all of the necessary details.

Romano said: “Galatasaray agree deal to sign Serge Aurier as new right back from Nottingham Forest.
“Understand clubs are checking now all documents in order to make deal happen.
“Negotiations at final stages for Serge Aurier to join Gala.”
Aurier, who has perhaps fallen behind Gonzalo Montiel since he arrived, is thought to earn at the City Ground.
And with those wages shifted today, it could help Nuno and his team pursue the deals mentioned.
Aurier has been ‘’ in the past for Forest, but it seems this chapter of his career has now come to an end.
