Felipe Anderson posts on Instagram after West Ham loan move, goalkeeper Adrian responds
West Ham attacker Felipe Anderson posted a message on after completing his loan move to Porto and has said he’s “extremely motivated” ahead of his chance to play with the Portuguese giants.
The 27-year-old winger has departed the London Stadium on a temporary basis, as he had slipped down the pecking order under manager David Moyes due to some impressive form from some of his teammates.
With Pablo Fornals and Jarrod Bowen currently impressing, Anderson had failed to start a single Premier League match this season.
The Brazilian speedster looked the part in the Carabao Cup with some eye-catching performances, but the decision has been made for him to join Porto and they are in this year’s Champions League group stages.
Anderson has explained on social media his excitement following his loan switch this summer.
“Extremely motivated and looking forward to living the excitement of wearing the Porto club shirt with so many glories and traditions. May it be a season of many achievements and that together we can build an exciting and unforgettable story,” he wrote.
Liverpool and ex-West Ham goalkeeper Adrian also responded with a good luck message.
“Let’s go Felipe. Good luck brother,” he replied.

TBR’s View:
Anderson cost West Ham a large transfer fee of £36million () to sign from Lazio two years ago, which is why overall his move has been underwhelming despite some real glimpses of quality.
The South American winger has made 72 appearances for the Irons, scoring 12 goals and supplying 12 assists in return.
He will be striving to recapture his best form during his time in Portugal and West Ham will have a decision to make on his future next summer, which will be largely based upon how he performs during the upcoming 12 months.
