‘Feel bad but he’s not good enough’: Liverpool fans react to Divock Origi’s Atalanta showing
Liverpool lost out in the Champions League last night as Atalanta won at Anfield in a worryingly flat night for Jurgen Klopp’s outfit.
The German boss made a number of changes for the visit of the Italian side and ultimately, paid the price as Atalanta ran out comfortable 2-0 winners, with the Reds rarely troubling their defence.
Among the changes to the XI was the inclusion of cult-hero striker, Divock Origi. The Belgian is lauded for his contributions to Liverpool’s title-winning and Champions League winning seasons but has struggled to cement a regular spot in the first-team.

Sadly for Origi, his performance last night did little to win over those Liverpool fans who believe the club needs more up top.
That seemed to be the story on Twitter, too. A lot of Reds fans were discussing Origi and while there’s a lot of love for him, it’s clear that some Liverpool supporters think he needs to move on.
I feel so bad because of the goals he’s scored for us, but Origi just isn’t good enough for this football club.

Would genuinely rather see Brewster or Harry Wilson out there instead of him

His head has gone. He knows he’s way down the pecking order and it’s reflected in his play every time he is picked. Sad really, but hopefully he can turn it around, somewhere else if not here.

Whilst I understand the reasoning, his best patch for LFC was when he played regularly. Playing once every blue moon is not helping the lad. It’s not like other players around played a blinder either

Doesn’t look like he cares anymore. Could have scored a hattrick and would still be benched next game.

He just didn’t kick on last season after his champions league heroics the season before. It’s sad, but at least if he moves on soon his legacy will stay in tact rather than ruining it with sub par performances game after game like we get now
