‘Fantastic’… Heung-min Son left amazed by £50m player who Tottenham really want to sign
Heung-min Son has praised Eberechi Eze after the Tottenham Hotspur target netted a ‘fantastic’ free-kick in north London yesterday.
Eberechi Eze returned to action for Crystal Palace on Saturday and handed Oliver Glasner’s men a 1-0 lead against the run of play at Spurs.
Tottenham had dominated the game up until this point, with Timo Werner wasting a brilliant opportunity and Heung-min Son also hitting the post.
But Eze provided a real moment of quality for the Eagles as he rifled a free-kick past Guglielmo Vicario into the top corner.

Ange Postecoglou’s men mounted a comeback, with Werner, Cristian Romero and Son getting on the scoresheet.
But after recent reports that Tottenham are really keen to sign Eze this summer, Son praised the midfielder following yesterday’s win.
Son praises Eze after ‘fantastic’ free-kick vs Tottenham
Speaking to , Son was asked whether Tottenham were forced to step things up after Eze’s opener.
“You can’t control the free-kick, it was a fantastic free-kick goal,” the Spurs skipper said. “Since then, I think we dominated the game and had chances to score and hit the post.
“We were just a little bit unlucky but then we showed really good character in the end and good performance. I think we deserved to get the three points.”

Even though Palace barely had the ball on Saturday, Eze put in an impressive display on his return to action.
The 25-year-old so often provides real moments of quality for Palace and his free-kick was exceptional.
He was also spotted talking to Son and James Maddison after yesterday’s game, which would have been a welcome sight to Tottenham fans.
You’d imagine that Postecoglou would have been impressed with the Englishman yesterday and it will be intriguing to see if Spurs step up their interest in the £50 million playmaker.
