‘Fantastic’: £146k-a-week Spurs man hailed by Manchester United ace Diogo Dalot
Tottenham Hotspur boss Nuno Espirito Santo has been described by Manchester United ace Diogo Dalot as a “fantastic” manager.
Spurs appointed Nuno in the summer, the Portuguese replacing compatriot Jose Mourinho at the north Londoners’ helm.
Nuno hasn’t had the best start to life at Tottenham, however, with the club losing four of its nine Premier League games so far.

Spurs have also suffered some poor results in the Europa Conference League, drawing at Rennes and losing to Vitesse.
Nuno’s tactics have come under criticism by some Spurs fans, while Karen Carney wrote in that they are “dull” and a “hard watch”.
The coach impressed while at Wolves, however, and speaking ahead of United’s trip to Spurs, Dalot spoke highly of his fellow countryman.
“He is a fantastic coach,” Dalot told the official website.
“I mean, what he did in Wolverhampton was outstanding.
“Now he went to Spurs and is also doing a good job, so it’s always a tough manager to go up against because he’s good, he’s very good.

“So, we’re going to have to be prepared for that, as well as obviously the fantastic players that their squad has.
“We need to be ready for any kind of challenge for this game.”
Last week, Spurs suffered a 1-0 defeat at West Ham, while United fell to a humiliating 5-0 home loss at the hands of Liverpool.
That said, Nuno’s charges will go into this game on the back of a 1-0 victory against Burnley in the Carabao Cup.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils will not only be desperate to make amends for their dismal defeat to Liverpool, but also seek a return to winning ways in the league.
United have lost three and drawn one of their last four league matches, and have collected just 14 points from their nine top-flight games this term.
