Fans respond as Lee Dixon mourns over Arsenal’s involvement in European Super League
Arsenal fans have taken to social media to mourn the news of the club’s involvement in a European Super League after former defender Lee Dixon took to Twitter to express his views on the matter.
It was announced on Sunday night that Arsenal would be one of 12 European clubs to sign up for a continental competition to act as a breakaway from the UEFA Champions League, with the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Real Madrid.

The overwhelming response from Arsenal fans since the news broke has been negative, with fans taking to the Emirates Stadium last night to boycott the decision in hope of a reversal happening to this planned European Super League, and Dixon’s response to the decision on Twitter was a relatable one for many supporters.
Here’s what Arsenal fans had to say about Dixon’s response on Twitter…
Kroenke. The end. He should be pushed out. Our club has been destroyed by one man. Stan Kroenke.
