Fans react to Wales display of Tottenham star Joe Rodon
A number of fans have taken to Twitter to laud Joe Rodon after the Tottenham Hotspur defender’s performance for Wales in their narrow win over Estonia on Monday.
Rob Page’s men have kept themselves in the hunt to qualify for next year’s World Cup. Kieffer Moore scored the only goal in Tallinn.

The result leaves Wales third in their qualifying group, level on points with the Czech Republic. But the good news is they have a game in hand heading into their final two fixtures.
However, it was not the most convincing performance from Wales in Estonia. And on another day, they could have easily left with less than three points.

Thankfully, Rodon was colossal in the victory. He made six clearances, including one off the line during the first-half.
He also made a greater number of successful passes than anyone on the pitch, .
It has not been the easiest start to the season for Rodon. He has only made one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Spurs so far.
But the 23-year-old has used the international break to send a message to Nuno Espirito Santo.
‘Joe Rodon > Eric Dier’: Fans react to Tottenham player’s display for Wales
Plenty of Tottenham fans certainly feel that he has proved a point. Some have insisted that they would like to see him given a chance alongside Cristian Romero in the near future.
Many felt that he was excellent against Estonia. There was also some praise from some rival fans, who felt that Rodon was the best player on the pitch.
With that in mind, here is how some of the fans reacted to Rodon’s display…

Excellent defender. Rodon needs to start (be a regular) for most Spurs Premier League matches, alongside Romero
