Fans react on Twitter to Wales display of Tottenham star Joe Rodon
A number of fans have taken to Twitter to laud Joe Rodon after watching the Tottenham Hotspur star play for Wales in their latest World Cup qualifier on Saturday.
Rob Page’s men have given themselves a fantastic chance of finishing second and ensuring that they have a home draw in the play-offs after beating Belarus 5-1 in Cardiff.

They now sit three points clear of Czech Republic before the final game. A point against Belgium will ensure that they finish second.
They were unable to keep a clean sheet, but that was only down to the visitors scoring a stunner from distance late on.
Apart from that, it proved to be a superb night for Rodon. The 24-year-old started alongside Tottenham teammate Ben Davies at centre-back.

He went on to make six interceptions and three clearances, . He also completed 61 accurate passes.
Of course, it has not been the easiest start to the season for Rodon. He is one player who will be hoping that his fortunes change under Antonio Conte.
The former Swansea City man has only made one appearance in the Premier League so far this term. And he was missing from the squad for Conte’s opening league game, away at Everton.
‘Outstanding’: Fans laud Tottenham star Joe Rodon after Wales win
There is room for a player to come in and cement a spot in Conte’s defence. And plenty of supporters believe that Rodon has the ability to make that step up.
Some are simply baffled that he plays so little for Spurs after his latest international display. Many felt that he was colossal this weekend.
With that in mind, here is what some of the fans made of Rodon’s performance…
Joe Rodon is different gravy, needs to find first team football in the PL because he will be outstanding playing week in week out.

Tell me Eric Dier is a better centre half than Joe Rodon without lying through your fricking teeth 🏴🏴🏴

Joe rodon deserves so much more game time, should be starting imho

Think we really need to give Joe Rodon a run of games. He’s playing more games for Wales than Tottenham! That can’t be right! 🤦♂️😂

Still don’t understand why Rodon doesn’t get a start for us.

Insane that Joe Rodon isn’t playing at the highest level regularly, he’s an elite defender.

Joe Rodon deserves to be playing regular football in the Premier League. He’s class every time for Wales then goes back to Tottenham and sits on the bench or doesn’t make the match day squads. It’s a shame to see for a seriously talented footballer.

Joe Rodon way too good to not be playing football week in week out
