Fans impressed by Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure against Manchester United
Everton put in yet another brilliant performance under Rafa Benitez as they drew 1-1 with Manchester United at Old Trafford thanks to a goal from Andros Townsend.
The Toffees were down to the squad players and the bench had a number of young players on it as the likes of Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin missed out through injury.
But it didn’t seem a problem for Everton, who were resolute, strong, and determined in their Old Trafford display.

A number of Toffees stars put in good performances as well. Solomon Rondon ran his socks off, while Demarai Gray looked a threat once again for Benitez’s side.
However, it was the performance of midfield general, Abdoulaye Doucoure, which caught the attention of onlooking fans. And that wasn’t just Everton supporters either.
Doucoure got himself another assist, his sixth of the season, and he looks like being the midfielder he was at Watford two seasons back.
Twitter, then, was awash with comments from supporters far and wide who were impressed with Doucoure.
Doucoure could be this season’s Gundogan. 6 goal involvements in 7 so far 🤔🤔
