Fabrizio Romano suggests Arsenal have just been presented with a ‘huge’ transfer opportunity
Arsenal were linked with Shakhtar Donetsk winger Manor Solomon for much of last year.
Indeed, a report from October claimed the Gunners were one of several Premier League sides eyeing him.
As well as Arsenal, the likes of Manchester City, Tottenham, Everton, Brighton, Aston Villa and Southampton were apparently after Solomon.

The Israel international ultimately opted for Fulham, and for some weeks now, a switch to Craven Cottage looked like a formality.
But now, it looks as though Arsenal and other potential suitors could have a way back in to land Solomon.
Fabrizio Romano took to Twitter on Friday night with an update claiming the move is close to collapsing.
This has presented other clubs with a “huge opportunity” to land the exciting 22-year-old.
According to , Solomon had agreed a £25,000-a-week contract at newly-promoted Fulham.
The West London outfit will reportedly pay a cut-price fee of £7million for the Donetsk star.
Solomon’s asking price took a substantial dip following the breakout of war in Ukraine.
Now, Arsenal could well decide to rekindle their interest in a player who has earned comparisons with Eden Hazard.
In November 2020, released an article detailing Solomon’s progression over the last few years.
They compared the Israeli winger to the Real Madrid and Belgium superstar.
Arsenal could certainly do with bolstering their attacking ranks, and Solomon seems like a good shout.
