the first impressions Antonio Conte has had on Tottenham Hotspur’s players – and it is a positive one, since signing on.
Tottenham’s squad arrived on Tuesday afternoon, later than normal, after Conte had been installed as manager. He has penned an 18-month contract.

Sunday’s 3-0 defeat to Manchester United was the final straw, with Spurs fans even booing Harry Kane for his lacklustre performance against United.
Romano has shared what the players have thought of Conte in terms of first impressions. Many are impressed with the Italian, who is seen as a coup.

For the first time in a long time, Tottenham’s long-standing players will be outranked by their manager. They will think twice about leaking stories.
An issue which has cropped up numerous times of late. Not only that, but their dismal running stats will surely improve over the next few games.
