However, Williams will not be the one, and Fabrizio Romano has e🧔xplai🌳ned why on .

Why Arsenal will not sign Nico Williams this summer

Arsenal have been linked with a move to sign Wꩲilliams for several months now.

The wi🐻nger had an excellent 2023/24 campaign for Bilbao and he carried on his form to the Euros as well, where he was one of Spain’s best players.

Wiliams aꦆlso scored in the final to help La Roja win the competition.

Several big clubs were dreaming of signing Williams at thไat point, including Arsenal, who were ready to do everything they could to land him.

However, Roman🎃o has revealed that after eyeing a move in July, Arsenal were informed that Williams has decided to♉ stay at Bilbao for one more season.

The Gunners respected that decision and have moved on – they will not be making any late attempts to sign the exciting youngꦺ forward.

Romano said: “Forget, guys, on names like Nico Williams. I have many que🐟♈stions from Arsenal fans on Nico Williams.

“Arsenal are not🌜 signing Nico Williams. Arsenal are not in negotiations for Nico Williams. Nico Williams is not on the market in the final days. Nico Williams is staying in Bilbao.

“And for Arsenal, in August, it was never a possibility. Arsenal were one of many clubs interested in June and July, after the Euros, attracted by the possibilit✅y.

“But, Nico 🍸made the decision to stay at Bilbao and Arsenal respected th✅at.”

Arsenal should not forget about Williams

It is clear that Arsenal are interested in Williams.

The 22-year-old is one of the mostܫ exciting wingers in the world. When he’s in full flow♌, it’s almost impossible to stop him, and he is destined to join a big club at some point.

A🍃 move in this window looks impossible, but Arsenal should not forget about Williams.

The Gunners should try and build a relationship over the course of this season and at𓄧tempt to sign him in the sum🍌mer of 2025.

That would be the right thing to do, but we’re sure many oth𝔍er clubs have the same plan.
