Fabrizio Romano shares Trevoh Chalobah latest amid Tottenham, Aston Villa, Manchester United, West Ham, Newcastle and Crystal Palace links

The likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Manchester United, West Ham, Newcastle United and Crystal Palace have all been linked with Trevoh Chalobah in recent weeks.

The Chelsea ace is one of the most highly sought-after defenders in the market this summer, and he’s very likely to make a move this summer.

Spurs, the Villans, the Red Devils, the Hammers, the Magpies and the Eagles all have scope to strengthen their defensive ranks over the next three weeks.

Tottenham have just three recognised senior centre-halves in their squad right now, while Villa could lose Diego Carlos and Man United are short at the back after losing Raphael Varane.

Meanwhile, West Ham are set to lose the services of Kurt Zouma, although Jean-Clair Todibo is set to arrive, while Newcastle have reportedly made centre-back a priority target.

As for Crystal Palace, Marc Guehi is being heavily linked with a move away, and so they would need a replacement for the in-demand England international

All six clubs have been linked with Chalobah, who wasn’t even included in Chelsea’s pre-season tour of the United States.

Fabrizio Romano has now shared the latest on the 25-year-old, as per .

Trevoh Chalobah deciding on ‘best opportunity’

Romano spoke about Chalobah in the context of Palace, who are actively looking for a new central defender at present.

“On Trevoh Chalobah’s situation, Crystal Palace are interested but it’s the same with clubs from abroad,” said the transfer insider.

“Chalobah will take his time to decide what will be the best opportunity for him.

“What I’m told too is that Crystal Palace also have Lacroix on their shortlist, a player that’s really appreciated by Glasner.

“So, a decision will be made once Marc Guehi’s future is clarified as talks with Newcastle are still ongoing, not done yet.”

Chalobah a solid addition for any Premier League club

With Chelsea eager to offload Chalobah, it shouldn’t be a difficult deal for any club to strike over the coming weeks.

The 6ft 3in ace, who reportedly has a £30million price tag, is talented, yet to hit his prime as a defender, and has Premier League and Champions League experience.

Chalobah would be a solid and relatively inexpensive addition for any of Tottenham, Villa, Man United, West Ham, Newcastle and Palace.
