Nico Williams to make his final decision

Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano took to X overnight and noted that Barcelona are waiting on Nico Williams’ final decision as Premier League clubs circle – thou𝓰ght to be Arsenal.

At t💧his stage, it’s understood that the Euro 2024 star prefers to remain in Spain, thus placing Barcelona in the driving seat to land his signature.

Arteta has made Willi✨ams his number-one tꦅarget in attack, so he’ll still be optimistic that an a🍷greement can be found.

Although, t꧋hey’ll have to fend off interest from Paris Saint-Germain, too.

Nico Williams alternative

TBR reported on Saturday that Arsenal are looking at Juﷺventus wide player Federicoꦿ Chiesa as an alternative to Williams.

No🏅rth London rivals Tottenham Hotspur are also thought to be keen on the 26-year-old, who is out of ꦬcontract next summer.

Chiesa is expected to cost ⛦in the region of £25m for any forthcoming suitors, so he’d be a much cheaper option, freeing up funds for other areas.

A midfielder is thought to be a priority position with Real Sociedad midfielder Mikel M🦩erino top of their wishlist.

In other news, after Riccardo♉ Calafiori, there’s now a real belief Arsenal are ab🍬out to sign ‘world class’ player.
