Fabrizio Romano shares overnight update on Radu Dragusin to Tottenham
Tottenham have been interested in signing Radu Dragusin for a while now.
Spurs have Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero at the back as their first-choice defensive pairing. When they aren’t available, Ange Postecoglou has had to deploy Emerson Royal and Ben Davies because he doesn’t trust Eric Dier.
A new central defender is a priority for Tottenham this month, and as things stand, Dragusin seems like their top target.
It was revealed on Saturday that Tottenham’s opening bid to sign Dragusin was rejected by Genoa. A second offer was said to be on its way, and Romano now shares that negotiations are in the final stages.
He also revealed at 11:04 pm last night that the next 24 hours will be key and Tottenham are confident they can sign him in the coming days.
Romano : “Tottenham keep working on Radu Dragusin deal, club still confident to make it happen — no changes. Spurs want to close the deal as soon as possible.
“Negotiations at final stages, key 24 hours ahead. FC Bayern have not sent any formal bid to Genoa for Dragusin so far.”
Tottenham will have to be quick to sign Dragusin
Radu Dragusin is a wanted man this month.
We all know about Tottenham‘s interest in the talented Genoa defender, but Ange Postecoglou‘s side aren’t the only ones in the race to sign him.
Napoli’s interest has been widely reported over the last few days, but the worrying news for Tottenham is that Bayern Munich are also said to be keen to sign Dragusin.
It goes without saying now that if Tottenham really want the Romanian, they will have to be quick.
