Fabrizio Romano says West Ham could yet make last-minute move to sign £35m striker
Fabrizio Romano has suggested that West Ham United could make a late move to sign Chelsea striker Armando Broja this month.
West Ham have been busy in the transfer market in recent days, with Kalvin Phillips set to join on a loan deal from Manchester City.
The Hammers will reportedly have the option to buy the midfielder for £40 million this summer.
David Moyes’ men have also stepped up talks to land Nordsjaelland winger Ibrahim Osman for £15 million, claims.
But there remains the possibility that West Ham will look to snap up a striker before next week’s deadline and Armando Broja is admired by the east London club.

West Ham could make late move for Broja
Speaking to , Romano shared an update on West Ham’s interest in Broja, with Premier League rivals Wolves also keen.
“Chelsea are waiting for proposals,” he said. “I think there will be some conversations, so let’s see what happens.
“West Ham have always been big admirers of the player, and let’s see if Wolves will enter the mix because they also had some contacts to understand the conditions of the deal.
“I think Broja could be one of the names that we mention in the final days of the transfer window.”

West Ham are in need of extra depth up front and that issue has been further highlighted by Michail Antonio’s recent absence due to a knee injury.
Chelsea are open to selling the Albanian forward for a fee worth around .
The 22-year-old has made 18 appearances for the Blues this season, netting just two goals.
But he’s largely been limited to appearances from the bench and has yet to get a proper run in Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
It’s no secret that Chelsea are looking to bolster their options in attack and selling Broja may be necessary for them to do just that.
