Fabrizio Romano says Tottenham ‘superstar’ is expected to leave the club on Monday

Fabrizio Romano has taken to X and confirmed that a Tottenham Hotspur player will leave the club on Monday.

Ange Postecoglou already added Timo Wenner, Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall to his ranks this summer.

South Korean youngster Yang Min-hyuk is expected to be unveiled in the coming days, too, so the future is certainly looking bright.

On the outgoing front, there’s also set to be an announcement, as Romano shares the latest.

Bryan Gil to leave Tottenham Hotspur on Monday

Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano took to X last night and confirmed that Bryan Gil, labelled a ‘superstar’ per , is set to leave Tottenham Hotspur on Monday.

Spurs are set to extend his deal before loaning him to his former club Sevilla with an option to buy worth £12.6m.

Gil, who joined the North Londoners in 2021, has failed to live up to his early promise and has made just 14 Premier League appearances without a goal.

Tottenham keen to bring in a versatile attacker

With Gil now on his way out, that frees up a spot in attack and it’s understood Postecoglou is keen to bring in a versatile forward.

Federico Chiesa has been linked, so too has Santiago Gimenez, so those two deals could accelrate in the coming days.

Perhaps Mikey Moore, the 16-year-old sensation, will be given a chance in the first-team this term after impressing in pre-season.

Moore has earned glowing praise from fellow teammate Bergvall whilst on tour and is clearly making a real impression around the squad.

In other news, Tottenham have until August 15 to sign ‘promising’ player before his £21m release clause expires.
