Fabrizio Romano says Tottenham are in the mix with PSG and Bayern Munich to sign ‘unplayable’ winger
Tottenham Hotspur are trying to add to their squad this summer and could now battle it out with PSG and Bayern Munich for one of Europe’s hottest properties.
Spurs have already signed Archie Gray from Leeds and brought Timo Werner back on loan as well.
However, more signings are wanted by Ange Postecoglou and Spurs are expected to be one of the busiest Premier League clubs in the next few weeks.
For Postecoglou, adding goals and a goal threat in general is a big priority this summer.
Indeed, that has seen links to a number of attacking players, despite the re-signing of Werner.
According to Fabrizio Romano, there is one winger who Tottenham are definitely in the conversation to sign.
And that winger, is Rennes star Desire Doue.

Tottenham, Bayern Munich and PSG all want to sign Desire Doue
Speaking on his channel about Doue making a move this summer, Romano has confirmed that Tottenham are in the mix.
“Bayern are one of the clubs monitoring Desire Doue, the talented winger from Rennes, very good player with many big clubs interested in several countries,” Romano said.
“Paris Saint Germain have been following the player, Bayern in contact, also Tottenham have Desire Doue alongside other clubs on their list. Doue could be one of the players to watch.
“There is movement around the boy and his family have a big influence. But Doue is for sure on the list of these clubs, PSG, Bayern and Tottenham. Rennes is waiting but there is definitely movement.”
Lauded as an ‘unplayable‘ footballer if he can find consistency in his game, Doue is valued at around the £60m mark by Rennes, albeit around could be enough as well.
Romano’s update here backs up reports from this weekend that suggest Ange Postecoglou has asked his board to make Doue a priority signing.
Whether or not Spurs will indeed pay up and get the deal over the line, remains to be seen.
