Fabrizio Romano says Nottingham Forest are ‘really pushing’ to sign player who has same agent as Nuno Espirito Santo
Fabrizio Romano has suggested that Nuno Espirito Santo’s Nottingham Forest have a special advantage in the race to sign Giovanni Reyna.
The Reds are in a relegation battle. They need all the help they can get this season, and Santo could play a big role in convincing Reyna to move to the City Ground.

Giovanni Reyna and Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo share the same agent
Giovanni Reyna has been linked with a move to Nottingham Forest for a while now.
The 21-year-old midfielder is certain to leave Borussia Dortmund before the window shuts tomorrow. He has started just two games this season and is in search of regular game time.
A number of clubs are interested in signing Reyna, and Nottingham Forest, who are currently 16th in the table, are said to be one of them.
Fabrizio Romano was asked about this and the journalist confirmed that Reyna is indeed a target for the Reds. He revealed that Forest are ‘really pushing’ to sign him and even suggested they could have an edge over other clubs.
That’s because Reyna and Nuno Espirito Santo share the same agent – Jorge Mendes.
Romano said on the : “And then there is Nottingham Forest. Forest are really working on this deal, are really pushing to make this happen.
“They have a special one in this case and that’s the agent of the player, Jorge Mendes, who is the same agent of the manager, Nuno.
“So, this could be an important connection for Gio Reyna with Nottingham Forest pushing. Let’s see what happens with Fiorentina and other clubs.”

Reyna is on his way to England
As we said earlier, a number of clubs have been interested in Giovanni Reyna.
The USMNT international has admirers in Italy, Spain and of course, England, and just when it looked like he was off to La Liga to join Sevilla, things took a turn.
Reyna will not be moving to Seville. Instead, it has been revealed that the 21-year-old is on his way to Nottingham to join the Reds.
Nuno Santo’s connections seem to have helped seal the deal here.
