Fabrizio Romano says Liverpool have made contact to sign ‘superstar’ forward today
Liverpool have just made a big push in the final days of this summer’s transfer market with an approach for an exciting forward.
Arne Slot‘s side are the only club in the Premier League not to have made a single singing this summer with just days remaining.
However, that could soon be about to change with Liverpool having just made contact with one of Europe’s top clubs over one of their star forwards.
Having been rejected by Martin Zubimendi earlier in the window, Liverpool are now looking at other options to bolster their squad.
And it seems as if the Reds could now be about to make a real push over the coming days to land one of Europe’s biggest names when it comes to wide players.

Liverpool make contact for Federico Chiesa
Liverpool have now agreed a deal to sign goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili on a permanent deal before loaning him back out.
The medical is now scheduled for the Georgia international who is all set to become a Liverpool player.
But it is not just between the sticks where Liverpool are looking to add with a new forward seemingly on the mind of Richard Hughes.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool has made contact with Juventus for Federico Chiesa earlier today.
The Italy international is a player who will be available for a sale this summer with Thiago Motta not considering as part of his plans in Turin.
With Juventus looking for a solution for Chiesa, this is a player who could well be on the move over the coming days.
It is even claimed that Chiesa would be keen on making a move to the Premier League before the end of play on Friday night.
Liverpool could land £13m bargain in Federico Chiesa
With Motta having stated Chiesa is not in the plans of Juventus, the Turin side are looking to offload him by the end of the week.
And with that, Liverpool could land themselves a real bargain with Juventus only looking for a fee of around £13m for the ‘superstar’ Chiesa.
This is a player with vast experience in the Italian top flight having won numerous trophies with Juventus during his time in Turin.
And with the contract of Mohamed Salah winding down, perhaps the Italy international is viewed as a potential long-term successor to the Egyptian.
However, the main concerns surrounding Chiesa are regarding his dreadful injury record, but at £13m he could prove a real bargain.
