Fabrizio Romano says Fulham set to complete two signings very imminently
Fulham’s transfer window is set to burst into life with a double deal set to be announced within hours.
The Londoners suffered a blow at the start of the summer when they lost Joao Palhinha to Bayern Munich in a £47million deal and Tosin Adarabioyo to Chelsea.
Villarreal centre-back Jorge Cuenca was signed to strengthen their defence but with Tim Ream also leaving, Marco Silva still needed extra depth at the back.
They then broke their club transfer record with a deal for Emile Smith Rowe which could rise to £34million, but the Cottagers still had to replace their two outgoing stars.
It now seems Fulham are going to replace Palhinha and Adarabioyo in one swift movement as they close in on a double deal.

Fulham set to complete £55m double deal
Fulham set their sights on Crystal Palace defender Joachim Andersen as a potential centre-back replacement after the Dane impressed at Selhurst Park last season.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Joachim Andersen is now moving across London to Craven Cottage after a £30million deal was agreed.
Romano posted: “Joachim Andersen to Fulham, here we go! Deal in place for £30m package as Andersen’s new agents are completing personal terms details.
“Medical tests booked, Andersen will leave Crystal Palace to join Marco Silva’s project. Fulham also count on Sander Berge to sign today.”
Romano revealed on earlier this month that Fulham had struck a £20m+£5m agreement with Burnley for midfielder Berge, who will fill the void left by Palhinha.
Fulham’s transfer window
They may have waited until the final few days of the window, but Fulham have finally crossed out every line on their shopping list.
Replacing Palhinha was a top priority and while Berge isn’t as polished as the Portuguese star, he will strengthen Fulham’s midfield considerably.

Andersen was a standout performer at Palace under Oliver Glasner last season so his signing should be viewed as a real coup.
With both deals set to be completed today, Fulham can expect their new duo to feature in their upcoming clash against Leicester City.
