Fabrizio Romano says club think they are about to sign ‘unbelievable’ player from Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur could be closing in on yet another departure as they continue to offload unwanted first-team players.

Ange Postecoglou called for ‘change’ during a difficult run towards the end of last season and Tottenham𓂃 are delivering on that front so far this summer.

ﷺSpurs allowed Eric Dier, Japhet Tanganga, Ivan Perisic, Ryan Sessegnon and Tanguy Ndombele to head out the door on free transfers last month.

The north Londoners have also made a good start to offloading returning loanees, with Joe Rodon completing a switch to Leeds United last week.

༒While there remains plenty of work to be done, there is confidence that another first-team player could follow Rodon out the door imminently.

Tottenham eyeing Royal replacement

ไThe arrival of Archie Gray has strengthened Postecoglou’s options at full-back as the youngster is able to operate at right-back.

But 🐼Spurs reportedly view Gray primarily as a midfielder﷽, meaning they are likely to strengthen at full-back should Royal depart.

TBR Football confirmed just yesterday that ꦰSpurs are keen on the idea of re-signing Kyle Walker-Peters.

🌠The full-back left north London for Southampton back in 2020 and looks likely to leave St Mary’s this summer.

🐻Walker-Peters would provide a versatile option for Postecoglou due to his ability to play both full-back roles and more importantly, the 27-year-old has valuable experience of playing as an inverted full-back.
