Fabrizio Romano says Celtic are about to sell player to Premier League club
are about to push through the sale of Odsonne Edouard to Crystal Palace – with a medical scheduled for Tuesday morning.
Edouard, 23, finally ends a four-year stint at Celtic in which he intially joined the Scottish side on loan in 2017. He is out of contract in June 2022.
Clocking up 179 appearances for Celtic, Edouard has produced a whopping 125 goal involvements – scoring 86 and laying on another 39 assists.
Following months and months of speculation, Edouard is finally on the move and he is joining a Premier League side. Palace have lured him south.

Romano on Edouard: Palace pulling off coup, Celtic do well
Edouard’s stats, in Scottish football or on the European scene, are excellent and certainly deserving of a chance to shine in the Premier League.
Landing the Frenchman, Patrick Vieira’s fellow countryman, is a a coup for Palace. Edouard has been linked with bigger clubs.
For a fee between £15.5million and £16.25million – as per Romano – Palace are getting a striker in Edouard that has enormous resale value.
A good season or two in the Premier League, in which he might reach double figures. Well, Edouard’s value will sky rocket.
It is a really good signing for Palace. But Celtic will be delighted to get north of £15million – given his contract situation. A good deal all around.
