Fabrizio Romano says Arsenal have sent out scouts ‘multiple times’ to watch £43m striker
Fabrizio Romano has now claimed that Arsenal have now scouted a striker on multiple occasions ahead of a possible move.
Just like last summer, it seems as if Arsenal are putting a plan in place to executive their business early and efficiently.

Both Mikel Arteta and Edu Gaspar seemed very clear on their targets last season, signings that were in place for the start of pre-season.
Big money moves for Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber now all look like excellent decisions, even if the latter hasn’t been able to show his true worth just yet.
And although Arsenal will be very focused on the season at hand, and crucial games against Brentford and FC Porto within the next week, they must have one eye on moves for this summer.
That being said, Fabrizio Romano has just been detailing how often Arsenal have scouted RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko on ‘’.
Romano explained that there is a ton of interest from both Italy and England for the 20-year-old, who also had strong interest from Chelsea ahead of the summer.
Fabrizio Romano says Arsenal have scouted Benjamin Sesko multiple times
Speaking on the live broadcast, Romano said it’s becoming increasingly likely that Sesko will end up in England.
He explained: “There are clubs constantly monitoring Sesko since he was already at Salzburg, then he joined Leipzig and they keep following the player.
“There is also interest from Italy but I think it is going to be complicated for Italian clubs to pay the amount of money for Benjamin Sesko.
“For clubs in England it could be different. For example Chelsea and the same for Arsenal, they have sent their scouts multiple times to follow Sesko.

“Let’s see now what is going to happen with the new board of Man United. It’s a very open situation for Sesko.
“My feeling is England is the most likely solution.”
Not the one
Although £43m-rated Sesko is clearly a very exciting talent, he doesn’t necessarily seem like the kind of profile that will improve Arsenal’s squad immediately.
Arsenal fans probably won’t be surprised to hear Romano’s words that Arsenal have scouted Sesko on a few occasions, but that resulting in a bid may be a shock.
The Slovenian proved against Real Madrid last night that his game is still very raw, and he wouldn’t be an immediate threat to Gabriel Jesus’ position.
If Arsenal are going to rock the boat and move Eddie Nketiah on for a new striker, he needs to be a ready made goalscorer.
Fans have learned to trust Mikel Arteta’s judgement by this point, but it’s hard not to think a move for a player like Victor Osimhen would yield better results.
That being said, it seems as if Arsenal have just received a big injury boost ahead of Brentford.
