Fabrizio Romano says Arsenal are now sending ‘sensational’ player out on loan
Arsenal are having a pretty busy end to the summer transfer window, both in terms of incomings and outgoings.
In terms of new arrivals, the Gunners have signed Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna and look set to add Real Sociedad’s Mikel Merino to their ranks.
As for outgoings, Arsenal have already let several first-teamers leave this summer, such as Emile Smith Rowe, Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga.
Now, Fabrizio Romano has reported that another Gunners fringe player is now set to depart N5, albeit on loan.

‘Here we go’ on Fabio Vieira to Porto on loan
The player in question is Fabio Vieira, and Romano has declared “here we go” on his loan move to Porto.
Romano reiterated that there’s no buy option for Vieira. It’s a straight loan, with the Portuguese giants set to cover his salary.
Vieira will hopefully return to Arsenal a much-improved player
Vieira joined Arsenal back in 2022 from Porto for a fee in the region of £34million.
He arrived at N5 to much fanfare due to the transfer fee, his talent, his potential, and the fact he shares a surname with a Highbury legend.
However, Vieira hasn’t managed to force his way into the Arsenal starting XI, with just 49 appearances in all competitions in the past two years.
Now, with the 24-year-old unlikely to get much game time at the Emirates Stadium any time soon, a loan back to Porto is a good shout.
Jorginho has previously described Vieira as a “sensational, hardworking boy” that “everyone likes”, so he’ll no doubt be a success at Porto.
Hopefully he’ll then return to Arsenal and become an important squad player, like Mohamed Elneny did after his Besiktas loan.
