Fabrizio Romano says another Liverpool player is about to leave on loan after Fabio Carvalho

Fabio Carvalho is not the only Liverpool player who will be leaving the club this summer.

The Reds have had a really quiet first six weeks of the transfer window, but it looks like they have woken up in recent days.

All eyes are on incomings because Arne Slot is yet to sign a single player this summer, but there are a few players who could be heading out of the club too – either on loan or on permanent deals.

Carvalho is one of them, and Fabrizio Romano has now shared an update on another.

Fabrizio Romano says Kaide Gordon is close to joining Swansea on loan

Romano confirmed earlier on Saturday that Liverpool have agreed to sell Fabio Carvalho to Brentford on a permanent deal.

The former Fulham man was one of the stars of the Reds’ pre-season under Slot. He scored against both Arsenal and Manchester United and was really impressive.

However, despite his good performances, Carvalho’s future always seemed uncertain. Now, it looks like a decision has been made to move him on.

Romano has revealed now that along with Carvalho, young Kaide Gordon is leaving Liverpool too this summer, but only on loan.

The 19-year-old youngster is a tremendous talent, and he has been tipped to have a bright future in the game by everyone who has watched him play.

Gordon is now close to joining Swansea on a season-long loan deal, and it will be interesting to see how he will fare in the Championship.

What Diogo Jota once said about Kaide Gordon

Gordon is one of Liverpool’s most exciting young players.

The teenager has made seven appearances for the Reds’ senior side already, and he has even scored a goal.

Jurgen Klopp was a huge admirer of Gordon and many Liverpool players have been impressed by him too. Diogo Jota is one of them.

Back in April 2022, Jota, who has trained with Gordon on plenty of occasions, was asked to name a youngster who could take over the Champions League in the coming years.

Jota quickly replied: “Kaide Gordon! His future looks great.”
