Christopher Nkunku could be one to watch in the summer transfer window

The player in question is Chelsea’s Christopher Nkunkuﷺ, whose Stamford Bridge future was uncertain during the January transfer window.

TBR Football sources confirmed that Tottenham had enquired about Nkunku♈ before eventually getting the signing of Tel over the line.

TBR Football also revealed that 🌸talks between Manchester United and Chelsea took place involving Nkunku and Alejandro Garnacho.

🍷Romano has now claimed that, should the £52million man not force his way back into regular game time, he could be a big player to watch in the summer window.

✤“Chelsea were never planning to sell Nkunku in the the January transfer window,” began Romano.

ꦦ“Nkunku at the end of January was very clear with Chelsea – no chance to leave in January on loan.

⛎“Permanent transfer, he was going to consider that, but not on loan – so permanent move or nothing

꧅“But let me say that Nkunku in January never went to meet Enzo Maresca to tell him ‘let me go, I want to go, I want to leave’. Nkunku was very happy to stay and fight for his place.

𝔉“The second half of the season will be really important because if there will be no space for Nkunku, my expectation is for him to be a big name to watch in the summer transfer window.

꧒“There is interest. Bayern will be there for Nkunku, the interest remains active.

🀅“Let’s see what Manchester United will, do but Nkunku could still be an interesting name for the summer transfer window.

🌳“It really depends on the space, on the game time he will have in this second half of the season at Chelsea.”

What Nkunku could bring to Man United or Tottenham

𓃲Nkunku certainly has a lot he could bring to both Man United and Tottenham.

♕The France international was a star for RB Leipzig in Germany, registering 70 goals and 54 assists from 172 appearances.

꧟His efforts led to him winning the Bundesliga’s Player of the Season award in 2021/22.

ꦓThe has compared Nkunku to Borussia Dortmund and Germany star Julian Brandt.

♏‘Like Brandt, Nkunku began life as a winger, but has proved more effective through the middle, where his range of passing options are broadened,’ they wrote.

ꦰ‘But not at the expense of his ability to dribble past his marker with his low centre of gravity, quick feet and core strength.’

𓄧Meanwhile, Wesley Fofana previously told Telefoot about Nkunku: “I have rarely seen someone finish so well in front of goal.”

🦋Jude Bellingham previously described Nkunku as “elite” and deemed him a “bagsman”.
