Fabrizio Romano says £38m striker linked with West Ham wants Napoli move
West Ham United have been fairly busy on the transfer front in the past few weeks as the club looks to give new manager Julen Lopetegui all the tools he needs to hit the ground running.
The Hammers have signed three players so far this summer, with Luis Guilherme, Wes Foderingha꧒m and Max ✱Kilman all arriving at the London Stadium in recent weeks.
West Ham have been heavily linked with a new striker to help ease the goalscoring𝔍 burden on veteran forward Michail Antonio.
However, one player said to have been in the Hammers’ sights now appears to have decided on ༺his next club, and it won’t be in the Premier League.

West Ham target Romelu Lukaku seeks Napoli move
The player in question is Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku, who is surplus to the club’s requirements.
recently claimed that West Ham were mulling over a move for the 31-year-old as an alternative to Lille ace Jonathan David.
However, the went on to report that Lukaku was ‘n🐼ot looking to join’ the Hammers and is ‘hoping that a move overseas will open up☂.’
Now, according to Fabrizio Romano, the Belgium international has his heart s𝓰et on a move to Napoli, with new man🌌ager Antonio Conte also said to be keen on him.
However, the move a💜ppears to be dependent on Victor Osimhen’s future at the Serie A club.
Should the Nigeria internati🍸onal leave, then Napoli will be ready to advance talks with Chelsea, said Romano.
Lukaku to West Ham unlikely
Even if Napoli don’t go ไahead with a move for Lukaku, the likelihood of him joining West Ham would still be low.
Although the 31-year-old is a “great” striker, as per Luca Toni🌺, he’🔯s said to have a valuation of £38million and a salary of £325,000-a-week.
West Ham would be getting themselves a proven goalscorer with plenty of experience,🅰 but there wouldn’t be much resale value two or three years down the line.
Add to that the speculation suggesting Lukaku himself doesn’t seemཧ keen on joining the Hammers, and it ꦆseems like they would be better off looking elsewhere.
