Fabrizio Romano says £24m striker linked with Arsenal is closing in on loan elsewhere
Arsenal have been linked with Juventus forward Moise Kean in recent weeks.
For instance, Dean Jones told earlier this week that the Italian was being “made available” to Premier League clubs, naming the Gunners as potential suitors.
Meanwhile, scout Michele Fratini suggested to TV Play – via – that Kean “could be the striker Arsenal are looking for to complete the offensive department.”

The Gunners could certainly do with bolstering their attacking ranks in the January transfer window, and the 23-year-old was apparently looking for a switch to a London club.
However, if Arsenal did decide to pursue a move for Kean, it looks as though that ship is sailing now.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Atletico Madrid have now agreed on a loan deal with Juve for the former Everton man, which includes a “small loan fee”.
The move is dependent on Angel Correa sealing a move to Saudi Pro League giants Al Ittihad, added the transfer insider.
Arsenal don’t seem to have pushed hard for Moise Kean this month – TBR View
Although Kean has been linked with Arsenal in the last few weeks, most of the speculation seems to have been player-side as opposed to club-side.
The Italy international is a talented young player, but admittedly, he hasn’t done particularly well at Juve since his return to Turin back in 2021.
Kean, who signed on a two-year loan deal with a obligation to buy in 2023, hasn’t registered a single goal – or assist – this season, and he remained in single figures in 2021-22 and 2022-23.
Although he does have Premier League experience, his time at Everton wasn’t particularly fruitful either.
With all this in mind, you can understand why Arsenal don’t seem to have made much of an effort in pursuing him.
At the same time, Atletico Madrid are a great side in the upper reaches of the La Liga table and in the last 16 of the Champions League, so there is a good player there.
