Fabrizio Romano reveals what he’s hearing about Ange Postecoglou’s future at Tottenham after Arsenal defeat
Tottenham have had a poor start to the Premier League season.
Spurs have picked up just four points from their first four games, winning just one match so far this term.
Of course, after such a poor start, questions are starting to be asked at Tottenham, and many are beginning to wonder what the future holds for Ange Postecoglou.
Indeed, while this has been a poor start to the season, the reality is that Tottenham have been in a slump for quite some time now.
Speaking on , Fabrizio Romano has been discussing Postecoglou’s situation at Tottenham, and he says that his understanding is that the Australian’s job isn’t under any pressure at the moment.

Ange Postecoglou not under any pressure
The journalist shared what he knows about the Tottenham manager.
“Is Ange Postecoglou in any danger?” Romano was asked.
“Not at all, zero per cent. No, everything is under control at Tottenham. A slow start and a disappointing north London derby, but they are not considering any shocking decision for the manager. This completely is completely considering the ideas and the plan, the whole project is under Ange Postecoglou, this is something they are building with the manager not for the manager,” Romano said.
“They absolutely trust the manager, they trust Postecoglou, nothing negative is going on at the club, no bad feelings, they just want to change things on the pitch.”
Ange Postecoglou needs to improve things at Tottenham
Ange Postecoglou isn’t under pressure right now, but things can change quickly in football.
Spurs have been in poor form for a long time now, and if the rot has set in, it may be difficult to turn things around.
Tottenham’s next two games against Brentford and Manchester United are massive, and if Spurs go into the next international break without an upturn in form, some conversations may need to be had.
Postecoglou isn’t on the verge of the sack by any means, but things do need to improve at Spurs in the near future.
