Fabrizio Romano reveals what he’s heard about Federico Chiesa after reports he’s close to joining Tottenham
Reports emerged earlier this week that Federico Chiesa is close to joining Tottenham Hotspur, but it appears as though those rumours were premature.
It was reported in Italy that Chiesa is close to signing for Spurs, and while that is a transfer that does make a lot of sense, it doesn’t look as though this is actually the case.
Indeed, according to Fabrizio Romano, , there’s still some way to go in the saga around Chiesa’s future.
Romano says that Chiesa still hasn’t made a single decision on his future, despite the reports that he’s close to signing for Tottenham.

Romano shared what he knows about Chiesa.
“On Desire Doue, the only story I know is between Bayern and PSG. Nothing has been decided yet. Bayern are pushing and PSG are pushing,” Romano said.
“Questions on Chiesa. My friend, at the moment I can guarantee to you that Chiesa hasn’t decided anything despite all of the rumours.”
Federico Chiesa could be bargain of the summer.
With Chiesa set to leave Juventus for a fee reportedly as low as £17m, the winger could be the bargain of the summer.
Indeed, Chiesa is a fantastic player who is available for such a small fee this summer.
£17m in this day and age is pocket change for most Premier League clubs, and while Spurs may not be as close to signing Chiesa as some may suggest, they do at least have an eye on this situation.
Tottenham could do a lot worse than signing Chiesa this summer, and with Fabio Paratici still playing something of a role behind the scenes at Tottenham, don’t be surprised if Spurs, once again, try to raid Juventus for one of their star players.
