The reliable Fabrizio Romano has now teased Arsenal fans by suggesting that an agreement has been reached with Espanyol for Joan Garcia.
For those who regularly follow the Italian journalist’s updates, he typically teases a significant development by posting a series of emojis when quoting his original breaking of the news.
That is exactly what Romano has done now, referencing his post from August 19th which states that Arsenal had agreed personal terms with Garcia by adding “🔴⚪️👀” – as if to inform fans that they need to keep a close eye on this situation.
Arsenal have agreed personal terms with the 23-year-old, but are yet to shake hands on a fee with Espanyol.

Interestingly, Romano’s teasing of the Espanyol No.1 moving to Arsenal comes after Southampton decided to resurrect their interest in Aaron Ramsdale, who Garcia would replace as No.2 behind David Raya if a deal does come to fruition.
