Aaron Ramsdale’s move to Southampton may be off

On the back of what was another sensational season for the Gunners, th🃏is summer has been more of an opportunity for Arteta to reall𒆙y fine tune his squad.

Clearly, there are some players who the Arsenal boss would like to get rid of ahead of the deadline but the clock is ticking down𒐪 on the north Londoners.

One of those players is Aaron Ram🎉sdale with the goalkeeper having received inter🌸est from Southampton over recent weeks.

Speaking in his , Romano has claimed Southampton are now looking set to sign an alternative goa🐎lkee🍰per.

“Despite lots of rumours that Southampton could be the nex🌄t destination for Aaron Ramsdale, my information is that the Saints are signing Justin Bijlow as a new goalkeeper from Feyenoord, the agreement is almost done,” he said.

“So my expectation is for Bijlow to join Southampt🅺on and let’s see what happens with Ramsdale, several clubs are keen but Arsenal want a guaranteed sale.”

Aaron Ramsdale urged to leave Arsenal by Emi Martinez

One player who has been in a very similar position to the £30m Ramsdale is the Aston Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez who📖 has since d♔eparted the Emirates in search of regular football.

The Argentina international📖 has thrived since leaving Arse🧔nal with Villa flying under Unai Emery and lifting multiple trophies with his nation.

Martinez has now urged Ramsdale to leave Arsenal and find himself a c𒈔lub 🔜where he actually feels valued.

“When you play every game in the Premier League and, then you drop to the bench with the quality that🌃 Aaron has, I think he should find a place to play where he feels loved,” said the Vilඣla shot stopper.

H𝓰owever, what options remain will have to be seen but Romano is confident there are still clubs who are showing an interest but it’s whether Arsenal can agree to the terms.
