Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher has been linked with Tottenham throughout the window but it looks like the race might finally be run.
Gallagher is wanted by Ange Postecoglou and Chelsea were open to doing business for Gallagher as long as a massive £50-60m price tag was met.
However, with just hours of the window remaining, it looks like Tottenham have given up on it for now and right now, Gallagher is staying with Chelsea.
According to , the England midfielder is happy to remain in West London for now and there has been no actual contact regarding a deal throughout the window.

After all that, nothing is happening and it about sums up what has been a terrible window in general.
Of course, this is one that’s likely to get revisited in the summer. Tottenham obviously want Gallagher and there’s a clamour from Postecoglou to get a top midfielder in the building.
For now, though, he’ll have to settle with what he’s got.
Overall, it’s been a decent window for Spurs, who landed Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin. They remain in the top four and Werner in particular has hit the ground running.
Gallagher, then, is one they can wait until the summer for when it’s likely the same rumours will gather momentum again.
