Fabrizio Romano has just shared fresh update on Tottenham Hotspur’s Bryan Gil

It looks as though Tottenham Hotspur may consider letting winger Bryan Gil leave Spurs on loan during the January transfer window.

The Tottenham talent is being linked with a couple of clubs across Europe, who are hoping he can provide more quality and flair to their ranks.

Earlier this week, reported that Serie A side Fiorentina have an interest in signing Gil during the January transfer window.

Now, Dutch outlet have reported that the Tottenham talent is on the radar of Eredivisie giants Feyenoord.

Fabrizio Romano relayed the report, noting that both Feyenoord and Fiorentina apparently also want to discuss a potential buy option clause for Gil.

The transfer insider, writing on , said Spurs will look to make a decision about the Spanish attacker “in the next days”.

Tottenham winger Bryan Gil faces uncertain future at N17

Gil hasn’t had a particularly great time at Tottenham. He joined in 2021 as a potential star of the future, but his Spurs career has never properly got going.

Tottenham legend Graham Roberts called Gil a “little superstar” in his early days at the club, testament to his talent and glimpses of quality he showed at Spurs.

However, the 22-year-old has already been sent out on loan twice whilst on the Tottenham books, and most of his Spurs outings have been off the bench.

Now, he could be in line for a third, and an option to buy would mean Spurs would be happy to let him go permanently at the end of the season.

Both Fiorentina and Feyenoord would be decent options for Gil. The former is fourth in Serie A and is still in both domestic cup competitions, while the latter is second in the Eredivisie and in the Europa League.

Let’s see what happens in the coming days. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Spurs send Gil out on loan again. Let’s hope it doesn’t necessarily mean he has no future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
