Fabrizio Romano drops Luis Henrique transfer update amid interest from Manchester United, Newcastle and other Premier League sides

Manchester United, Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest are just some of the clubs circling around Marseille forward Luis Henrique.

TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey recently confirmed that Manchester United have joined the race for Henrique as INEOS aim to bolster Ruben Amorim’s squad.

Meanwhile, Newcastle have already opened talks to sign Henrique, and Nottingham Forest are also firmly in the picture too, according to TBR Football sources.

Fabrizio Romano has now provided an update on Henrique, but it’s one that does not bode particularly well for any of the Premier League sides in pursuit.

Fabrizio Romano says Luis Henrique in advanced talks with Inter Milan

Romano has taken to X to claim that Serie A giants Inter Milan are in advanced talks with Henrique over personal terms.

Inter and Marseille are in talks with an initial valuation gap of around €10million (£8.6million) for a total package worth up to €35million (£30million), according to Romano.

Worse still for Man United, Newcastle and Forest, Henrique is said to be keen on joining Inter, while Bayern Munich are also keen on the Brazilian.

What Luis Henrique could bring to the Premier League

Henrique is a 23-year-old winger who plies his trade for Ligue 1 side Marseille and can play on both flanks as well as at No. 10 and at wing-back.

He has made 31 appearances for Marseille this season, registering an impressive nine goals and eight assists in all competitions.

has described Henrique as “sensational” and described him as “one of Brazil’s brightest forwards”.

Meanwhile, Football Talent Scout’s Jacek Kulig has likened the “explosive winger” to Franck Ribery.

Manchester United, Newcastle and Forest will need to move quickly to try and turn Henrique’s head before Inter seal the deal.

For a top-end Premier League club, £30million is not a huge amount, so those in pursuit could well look to flex their financial muscle.
