Fabrizio Romano claims ‘huge’ Liverpool-linked £38m centre-back will be sold in summer
Fabrizio Romano has claimed that reported Liverpool target Day𝔍ot Upamecano “will be sold next summer”.
The ✅22-year-old RB Leipzig centre-back is one of the most sought-after young defenders in world football at present.
🔜Last summer, Upamecano committed his future to the Bundesliga club until 2023, but he𒅌 is still said to have multiple suitors after him.

According to , Liverpo🌟ol are eager to sign the Frenchman, as are Premier League rivals Manchester United.
Jurgen Klopp reportedly rওegards Upamecano as a natural partner for Virgil van Dijk when the Dutchman returns from his cruciate ligament𓄧 injury.
The report also claimed that United might’ve been tempted to steal a march 💜on Upamecano this month amid Liverpool’s purported lack of funds for January signings.
However, Romano played down such claims, claiming the race for the p🐽layer will take place t♍his summer.
To be clear about Dayot Upamecano. No chances f🌜or him to leave RB Leipzing in the coming days, he’ll be sold next summer [release clause €42.5m]. Manchester United are *not* in talks to sign him in January. The race is open for next summer. 🔴

Aside from the plaudits sent Upamecano’s wa🌜y, the France international d🥃efender’s displays have often spoken for themselves.
“He is a young player, he is highly talented, he’s fast, has a good positional game anꦬd he uses his body well,” Bundesliga legend Lothar Matthaus previously told .
“I can still see one or two percent where he can learn. But, as I said, he’s a huge player and that’𝄹s why I’m not surprised that the top clubs in Europe are after h𒀰im.”
A tall, strong centre-back with explosive pace and superb reading𝓡 of the game, it’s unsurprising to see the Premier League’s top sides having been linked with him.
