Fabrizio Romano claims Aston Villa have started ‘dreaming’ about signing ‘very expensive’ player
Aston Villa have been perhaps the busiest team in the Premier League during this transfer window.
Indeed, the Villans have already spent and received over £100m this summer, and things don’t look like slowing down anytime soon.
Villa are still being linked with a number of very talented players, and Joao Felix has been named as one star the Midlands club are very keen on.
, Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Aston Villa are incredibly keen on signing Felix, so much so that they’re actually dreaming about bringing the attacker in.

Romano shared what he knows about the Atletico Madrid star.
“Aston Villa are dreaming of João Felix,” Romano wrote
“He’s the ultimate target, especially for Unai Emery who’s a big fan of the player and he’d love to work with him.
“It’s still early, nothing advancing now, but one to watch.
“Let me clarify guys that it’s a complicated deal because it’s very expensive on fee and salary, but Villa want to try.”
What Unai Emery thinks of Joao Felix
As Romano says, Emery is a big fan of Felix, so much so that he thinks he’s a perfect player.
Indeed, Romano stated earlier this week that Emery believes Felix is absolutely ideal for Aston Villa.
“Unai Emery is a big fan of Joao Felix he’s convinced that Joao Felix in his idea of football could be a perfect player, but it’s a very complicated deal for Aston Villa because the transfer fee is very expensive and the salary is very important,” Romano said.
As any Villa fan will be able to say, Emery knows a good player when he sees one, and he could well have another superstar on his hands if he can get a deal done for Felix.
This could be one of the most exciting transfers within the Premier League this summer if Villa get this one over the line.
