Fabrizio Romano claims Arsenal won’t sell ‘outstanding’ talent to Juventus in January
Over the past few weeks, there have been reports linking Arsenal talent Charlie Patino to Juventus.
However, Fabrizio Romano has now taken to to claim “there’s nothing now” in the speculation.
Patino, one of the top talents in the Arsenal academy, is currently out on loan at Championship side Swansea City.
The 20-year-old Gunners gem has been doing very well, with 19 appearances, three goals and four assists under his belt.

Not long ago, scout Michele Fratini told Rai Sport – via – that Juve could try to sign Patino and include Moise Kean in the deal.
He went on to double down on his claims, claiming Arsenal had placed a £26million price tag on the attacking talent.
However, Romano now says Patino won’t be leaving for Juve in January. Instead, the player’s future will be assessed in 2024.
He doesn’t specify whether Arsenal don’t want to sell him or the Italians don’t want to sign him.

The speculation linking Arsenal’s Patino to Juve never seemed very likely.
Arsenal clearly rate Patino highly. Considering he’s shining on loan at a Championship club, the next step tends to be the parent club’s first team. He’s progressing nicely, and you’d like to think the Gunners would want him to stick around.
It would make more sense to let Patino see out his loan and then – as Romano said in his tweet – reassess his future in the summer. It’d be great to see him break into the Gunners first team, but even if he doesn’t, then it’s still better to let him continue on his Swans journey for the sake of his development.
