Fabio Paratici loves Tottenham target Adama Traore and could still sign him this summer

Alasdair Gold has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur‘s technical director Fabio Paratici could still make a late move to sign Adama Traore from Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer.
Spurs have been keen to sign the talented Spaniard for months now, but things just haven’t gone their way. Barcelona lured Traore away in January and although the North Londoners reportedly remain keen, they haven’t tabled a bid in this window just yet.
However, Gold believes a move could be made in the coming days.
The journalist claims that Paratici was keeping a close eye on Traore when Wolves came to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last weekend. Gold further reveals that the Spurs technical director loves the winger, .
Alasdair Gold: Tottenham could still sign Adama Traore
In a , Gold said: “I wouldn’t be shocked if Spurs are keeping a close eye on the Adama Traore situation with regards to a late move if Bryan Gil heads off on loan.
“I don’t think you could get more different in terms of size and strength than those two players! Personally I think Gil will become the better player but Paratici does love Traore.
“I think the doubts are probably because of that near complete lack of end product.
“Fabio Paratici likes him though – I saw him watching him and the Wolves subs a fair bit during the warm-up on Saturday – and perhaps Conte believes he can turn him into a wing-back.
“As his price creeps further and further down I can see him being a cheap option but I can’t see him getting as much game time as he’d want.”

A move for someone like Traore makes more sense than ever for Tottenham now.
Spurs don’t really need the Spaniard, but signing him would give Antonio Conte numerous options. Traore can play on either flank and also as a wing-back – the latter could be really appealing for the Tottenham boss.
The 26-year-old, , is a very good player to have in the squad. His pace, power and dribbling is almost impossible to contain, and under Conte, he could take his game to a whole new level.
To add to that, Traore has entered the final year of his contract, which means he could be available for a bargain fee. This deal makes a lot of sense for Spurs, but whether they will go through with it remains to be seen.
