FA Cup: Fifth Round Team of the Weekend feat. Tottenham and Lincoln City stars

Who said the magic of the cup was dead? It was a weekend of epic proportions as Lincoln City of the National League got the weekend started with a 1-0 victory to stun Premier League Burnley at Turf Moor, becoming the first non-league side in 103 years to reach the Quarter-Finals, before Huddersfield managed a goalless draw with Manchester City at the John Smith’s Stadium to force a replay at the Etihad.

Millwall were the next to write their names into this year’s cup folklore at the Den, piling the pressure on Claudio Ranieri with a 1-0 win of their own over Leicester City, despite having gone down to ten men; Shaun Cummings’ late-winner earning the League One Lions their third top-flight scalp in this season’s competition, having already seen off Bournemouth and Watford.

Fellow League One club Oxford United exited valiantly, fighting back from a two-goal deficit to draw level at Middlesbrough before Christian Stuani’s late winner broke their hearts, whilst Chelsea and Manchester United saw themselves safely through with victories over Championship sides Wolves and Blackburn Rovers respectively. Tottenham had the easiest route through of the Premier League sides, winning 3-0 against Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Arsenal were the last of the big guns to secure their place in the last-eight, after goals from Lucas Perez and Theo Walcott saw them get the better of a dogged and determined Sutton United, who proved more than a match for Arsene Wenger’s men on the artificial surface at Gander Green Lane.

But who were the stars of Round Five to make it into The Boot Room’s pick for Team of the Weekend?
