Ebere Eze and Victor Osimhen are amongst those to have lauded Joe Aribo on Instagram after the Rangers star produced an outstanding display in Sunday’s Old Firm clash at Ibrox.
Steven Gerrard’s side cruised to an emphatic win to extend their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
A number of Rangers players looked to be on another level to their Celtic counterparts in the 4-1 victory. And one of those who really impressed was Aribo.
Along with Steven Davis and Glen Kamara, Aribo did a superb job of controlling the battle in the middle of the park. And he showed the energy to contribute at both ends of the pitch.
Aribo appears to have taken his game up a notch this season. His natural ability has never been in doubt. But he is now arguably producing game-changing displays on a much more consistent basis.
And it appears that Aribo’s display impressed many. The 24-year-old took to Instagram to post a picture from the game.
And amongst those to reply were Eze and Osimhen. Both were full of praise for the Rangers star.
Eze is arguably one of the most exciting talents in the Premier League, while Osimhen – who plays Aribo for Nigeria – is a player Napoli agreed to .
So it arguably says a lot that Aribo is impressing players of that calibre…
