Exit-linked Danny Rose opens door to Tottenham stay
Danny Rose has seemingly opened the door to stay at Tottenham Hotspur, saying that he would ‘love nothing more’ than to play in front of the club’s fans again.
Rose spent the second half of 2019/20 season on loan at Newcastle United after failing to establish himself under Jose Mourinho.

The full-back about what the Portuguese’s arrival did for his prospects, stating he felt it was the beginning of the end for him at the club.
Speculation has been rife about the player’s future, with Newcastle and newly promoted Leeds United () both keen.
But Rose’s exit from the club this transfer window may not be as nailed on as first thought judging by his latest comments.
He said (): “I am very happy to stay at Tottenham and see my last 10 or 11 months out, I would love to.
“There is nothing I want more than to play one more time in front of the fans.”
TBR’s View – Rose exit surely still likely
Despite his comments, it would be something of a surprise to see £60,000-a-week Rose () staying with Tottenham beyond the current window.

Jose Mourinho had plenty of chances to play him before his Newcastle loan but clearly preferred Ben Davies and even youngster Japhet Tanganga.
He’s out of favour and it would surely be in his best interests to leave rather than risk being bench-ridden for the next year.
