‘Exceptional’: Bukayo Saka so impressed by £30m player Tottenham reportedly want to sign at the World Cup
Bukayo Saka has lavished praise on England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford before Saturday night’s huge clash with France.
The Three Lions have only conceded twice at the World Cup so far, and both of those came in the opening game against Iran with the match already won.
Pickford has never let England down and is reportedly on Tottenham’s radar as they start preparations for life after Hugo Lloris.
At a ahead of the game, Saka was keen to pay tribute to Pickford and the England defence so far in Qatar.

Saka on Pickford
He said: “If you look at our first four games, I think we have three clean sheets.
“So it starts from how solid the defence and obviously Pickers our keeper has been exceptional there.”
Pickford will know that keeping a clean sheet on Saturday night against Kylian Mbappe and company would go a long way towards an England win.
He made two big saves on Sunday night with the score at 0-0 between England and Senegal, including one from a move where Saka gave the ball away in a deep and dangerous area.
The Arsenal talisman played his way into the game and got England’s third goal which completely killed the game and made the remainder of the encounter a formality.
Another goal from Saka would bring him closer to Mbappe in the race for the Golden Boot but the priority has to be knocking him out of the tournament entirely.
