‘Excellent’: Some West Ham fans think they can now get more money for ‘baller’ on their books
West Ham United winger Andriy Yarmolenko appears surplus to requirements at the London Stadium.
The 31-year-old joined the Hammers in 2018 for a reported .
Yarmolenko arrived from Borussia Dortmund and was an experienced Ukraine international, so he had high expectations.
However, he hasn’t had the best time at West Ham, clocking up just 54 competitive appearances.

Last season, Yarmolenko made just 24 appearances, of which 15 were in the Premier League.
Even more worryingly, all but one of those league appearances were off the bench.
Yarmolenko is contracted to West Ham until next summer.
Considering he’s on and getting little game time, the club will surely look to find a buyer this year.
Yarmolenko is currently getting a respite from his claret and blue woes as he looks ahead to Euro 2020.
Ukraine will face the Netherlands, North Macedonia and Austria at the tournament.
On Monday, Andriy Shevchenko’s charges wrapped up their pre-tournament friendly programme with a 4-0 win over Cyprus.
Yarmolenko scored twice at the Metalist Stadium, getting the first and last goals of the game.

He opened the scoring from the penalty spot on 37 minutes against Cyprus and his deflected drive on 65 minutes made it 4-0.
In between, Oleksandr Zinchenko made it two with a first-half injury time penalty and Roman Yaremchuk scored Ukraine’s third on the hour.
Some West Ham fans now feel that Yarmolenko’s price tag could have gone up and hope he could be sold for a decent fee in the summer.

Yarmolenko hasn’t had a good time at West Ham, failing to make much of an impact in claret and blue.
According to , he’s the highest paid player at the London Stadium, yet he’s on the fringes.
Given his age and expiring contract, it’s unlikely there will be too many suitors for him at this stage.
However, a successful Euro 2020 in blue and yellow could put Yarmolenko firmly in the shop window.
