‘Excellent’ player has just become more likely to leave Tottenham this month after latest injury news

Ryan Sessegnon is reportedly more likely to leave Tottenham this month after Ben Davies’ quick return from injury.

The Wales international returned to full fitness way ahead of schedule having picked up a hamstring injury earlier this month, with Davies now available for selection again.

With Sessegnon hardly featuring for Tottenham this season, there has always been a chance that the 23-year-old fullback could go out on loan having struggled with injuries all year.

And , there is now a more likely chance that Sessegnon could depart north London, with Tottenham exploring the options for their youngsters in the final days of the window.

, Sessegnon leaving Tottenham again on loan could be what’s needed if the former Fulham man is to have any hope of having a career for himself in north London.

Moreover, given how young Sessegnon is, there’s a good chance that a good club will be keen to bring on the versatile fullback on loan, with Tottenham having time on their hands to conduct business.

At 23-years-old, it’s hard to think where all the time has gone with Sessegnon at Tottenham, with the defender struggling for fitness and to break into the starting XI regardless of the manager.

Whilst all hope isn’t lost yet for the former Fulham wonderkid, it’s clear that Sessegnon needs something akin to a miracle if he’s to make it at Spurs, and the north London club have to find a loan move for the fullback.

Sessegnon impressed out in the Bundesliga with TSG Hoffenheim back in the 2020/21 season, and a similar move to the Bundesliga could be ideal for the former England youth international.

Indeed, Sessegnon is running out of time to make a name for himself in the Premier League, and this potential loan move this January could be the final throw of the dice for the Tottenham man.
